Library of Congress features Recollection view for exploring NDIIPP partner collection

The Library of Congress Digital Preservation initiative has released a new faceted interface to explore over 1400 digital collections preserved by the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program (NDIIPP) partners across the globe. This interface was created using the Recollection platform (Update: now Viewshare), a Library of Congress sponsored, open source platform developed by Zepheira for generating and customizing views (interactive maps, timelines, facets, tag clouds) from heterogeneous data sources that allow scholars, librarians and curators to explore digital collections in novel and intuitive ways. Recollection empowers end users the ability to embed your visualizations and interfaces anywhere, providing patrons novel and intuitive ways to explore content.
