Zepheira to present at two sessions at American Library Conference in Chicago

Eric Miller from Zepheira will be presenting the latest update on the BIBFRAME initiative at the American Library Association Annual Conference in two sessions.

First, on Sunday June 30 from 10:30am to 11:30am Eric will speak at The Library of Congress Bibframe Update Forum located at the McCormick Place Convention Center E352. This session will give an update and share progress in designing the new bibliographic framework.

On Monday July 1, 2013 from 1:00-2:30, Eric will present “Future of Subject Analysis in the BIBFRAME Model” at the InterContinental Chicago Hotel sponsored by ALCTS Subject Analysis Committee.   Eric will address how will subject/genre and classification elements can be handled in the BIBFRAME. In particular, the challenges and opportunities in analyzing and organizing our subject, genre, and classification data in new ways.
