Simon J. Hernandez is a *N{I,U}X (various UNIX variants and Linux) administrator/manager of Semantic Web services. His professional experience ranges through human resources, mobility planning, intelligence, editorial, computing, and research disciplines. He maintains a Research Affiliation with the World Wide Web Consortium, and is active in furthering the aims of Semantic Web technologies and open source systems.
Simon joined Zepheira in July 2008 after 8 years on the W3C Systems team. Prior to joining W3C, Simon was a multi-UNIX systems administrator at Sybase, Inc. He has administered systems in academic, electronic publication, and corporate environments.
Simon is a graduate of 上智 大学 (Jochi Daigaku | Sophia University), in Tokyo, Japan, and attended the School of Library and Inforamtion Studies (now the School of Information), University of California, Berkeley.
