Zepheira leads the Linking Enterprise Data (LED) project. LED is a variation of the Linking Open Data (LOD), an initiative for moving the Web from the idea of separated documents to a wide information space of data. This is valuable, but for the enterprise it's not necessarily realistic. Enterprises have to deal with additional constraints such as regulatory compliance and competitive advantage with respect to their data. They need a way to get the sorts of advantage LOD promises within their firewall, and through careful policy-driven control, to their partners, customers and markets. LED provides this refinement, so that if you have a browser, you have all the power you need to find, combine, and reuse enterprise assets.
