Museums and the Web is an annual conference exploring the social, cultural, design, technological, economic, and organizational issues of culture, science and heritage on-line. Eric Miller from Zepheira will be there to help shape emerging social and technical policies that will enable museums to better contribute to and use Wikimedia Commons as well as present work Zepheira is doing in partnership with the Library of Congress and the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program (NDIIPP) on Recollection, a platform for building communities for distributed curation and data sharing.
The National Digital Information Infrastructure & Preservation Program of the US Library of Congress receives a major award for government programs. Zepheira is a leading partner in the NDIIPP program, developing the Recollection platform to showcase the tremendous value of digital information being preserved for current and future generations through NDIIPP.
