As CEO, Bernadette manages the strategic direction of the services business and oversees operations management of Zepheira. She brings a strong background in commercial and government data management strategies, coupled with deep expertise in leading commercial Internet software companies. Zepheira's team of experts have a proven track record pioneering Internet standards and delivering innovative solutions to clients.
Bernadette has co-founded and lead three profitable early stage companies. Experienced raising venture capital, Bernadette successfully placed a Series A preferred stock offering in 2003 in Northern Virginia and saw it through the company’s exit via acquisition to Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems in 2005.
Previously, Bernadette implemented one of the first intranets for the largest US institutional portfolio manager based in San Francisco, and she was responsible for deploying Web-based solutions at global media and healthcare organizations. She started as an R&D engineer for Hewlett-Packard and is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in Computer Science and Linguistics.
Bernadette is on the fund raising committee for a local non-profit organization committed to assisting mothers and their children with the transition to successful, independent living.
